How to fall in love with working out

Reading Time: 1 min 19 sec

If you’re one of the girlies who knows she should start working out, but just can’t bring herself to do it - you’re not alone. ⚜️

I will not give you the same old spiel on how you need to push yourself, be motivated, go hard or go home and whatnot. 💪

(if you’re into that - great, but this is for the girlies who struggle with the vicious cycle)

Instead, let’s try to put a twist on all that. 🌀

Imagine you were one of those people who enjoy working out.

One of those people who have no issue staying consistent and are thus happy with themselves and are making progress. 🤩

How incredible does that sound?

Let me tell you something - everyone can be that person if they simply, well… enjoy exercising.

Crazy idea, I know!🤪

But it can be as simple as that - choose an activity you enjoy because any activity is better than no activity.

As long as you’re moving your body, getting your happy hormones up and making your body do some work - you’re already doing well. 🤸

This especially applies if you’ve never actually been consistently working out or it’s been a long time since you’ve been abut that life.

A lot of us have this fixed idea that working out has to be hard. Sure, it has to push our limits at some point but it has to be at least somewhat enjoyable. 🎈

Otherwise it will be very hard for you to stay consistent.

Maybe not for professional athletes and bodybuilders, but us regular folks - we’re gonna enjoy the heck out of it. 🌟

Exercise should be regarded as tribute to the heart.

Don’t feel guilty for having fun while you’re working out! Pick some type of movement that your body enjoys.

If you don’t know what that activity is - try a lot of thigs, perhaps sign up for free first-time classes in various types of activities.

Trust me - there’s more to working out than running and lifting weights. 🏋

Dancing, zumba, yoga, wrestling, pilates, power walking… Go out and explore!

Also, don’t feel like you need to go someplace else to make it count. Home workouts are also amazing!

Girlies, don’t be hard on yourself and remember that the worst thing you can do is to feel guilty for not doing something. 😧

That feeling of guilt usually only boosts further procrastination.

And what happens then? → no glowing and no growing

Sending you love and light,

Your Glowing bestie ✨💖
