I bet there are SO MANY habits you want to implement in your daily life. Doesn't it sometimes seem like too much and hard to keep up with all of them? 🫨

The best way to implement new habits is to combine with the ones you already have (AKA - to stack them). 📈

Stacking habits mean taking the habits that you already have and adding a new habit before or after the old one.

Let's say you want to drink more water, but just forget to do it during the day. 💧

Instead of relying on your memory during the day, you could make conscious effor to make it a habit and, for example, plan to drink a glass of water after every meal.

This is the formula you should use to habit stack:

 After/ before [OLD HABIT], I will [NEW HABIT].

The key here is to make it easy to do the new habit.

  • Start small because doing too much might overwhelm you. This might literally be the most important tip.

  • Be specific. Define when and where you will implement the new habit.

  • Track your habits

  • Celebrate the small wins. Even a mental pat on the back does a lot, as long as you acknowledge you're improving and trying.

Being a human means constantly looking for ways to improve. And no matter what you do, there will always, ALWAYS, be more room for improvement.🌱

So remember to take it easy, but STILL TAKE IT. Remember that being human inherently means being imperfect in the sense that there will always be something more you can do.

However, if you make no effort mentally or physically to change - nothing will change.

So, instead of doing everything all at once and burning out a week later - opt out for small, accumulated wins.

Remember that these small wins COMPOUND. Sometimes you won't see any significant difference for days or weeks.

This is the part where you have to trust the process and stay consistent.

Because life happens slowly and then all at once.📈

How exactly? By starting the work today and sticking to these small actions for a while, you will turn around next year and realize you are a completely different person. For the better.
