The Abundance Mindset

Watch out, today I’m coming your way with a game-changing perspective. And trust me when I tell you that mastering the abundance mindset changes everything.

The abundance mindset means truly believing that there is an endless amount of good opportunities, good people and resources. 👑

It is the opposite of a scarcity mindset, which means believing that there is a limited amount of resources, success, or opportunities. 🥺

But why would I even be delusional like that?, you might ask, Is it not better to stay realistic? 🤔

Me and my glowing besties over here on the bright side of the Internet disagree. Welcome to the free world where delulu is solulu. ✨

Living with a scarcity mindset means seeing the world as a finite pie. If one takes a large bite, there is less for everyone else.

However, living with the abundance mindset means believing that there is enough for everybody. 🌈

Abundance goes hand in hand with gratitude because people with an abundance mindset focus on the things they already have and are present in the moment. Because of that they make better plans for the future and experience more success.

They are not riddled with fear and anxiety, worrying beyond measure that someone else will get the thing they want. They view the world as full of possibilities and enjoy the journey. ✨

Abundance is not something we acquire. It is something we tune into.

Wayne Dyer

On the contrary, people with the scarcity mindset have a more competitive and fearful approach to life which leads to self-sabotage and unhealthy habits.

Does this sound like you? Don’t worry, it can be changed. That’s why I’m here.

Here are some signs of a scarcity mindset and how to transform it into an abundance mindset:

  1. Comparing yourself to others 👥

Feeling envious of a friend who scored 100% on a test? Got the jellies in your belly after seeing an influencer taking a vacation in Italy? Rolling your eyes at the couple showing PDA?

Stop seeing other people's success as if they are somehow your losses.

If they got it, it only means that you can get it too. Good things are abundant in the world.

Them having something you want is only proof of that thing being abundant! Celebrate their wins.

  1. Neglecting self-care 💆🏻‍♀️

How many times did you skip doing that thing you like this week?

Neglecting self-care or personal well-being reflects your belief that dedicating time to oneself is a luxury that cannot be afforded.

It means not respecting yourself.

People with an abundance mindset know that is a silly idea to pour from an empty cup.

So do that thing that fills your cup because you are a luxury.

  1. Obsessing over the things you don’t have 😩

People with a scarcity mindset focus on what is lacking in their lives rather than appreciating what is there.

The abundance mindset is rooted in deep gratitude. When you make gratitude your state of being you attract more abundance just because of the positive mindset you fostered.

Suddenly your eyes open and you not only see all the things that are already abundant in your life, but also how to seize new opportunities.

  1. Chronic worry about the future

We have our survival mechanisms for a reason, but constantly worrying about the future and having a belief that success is elusive leads to anxiety and stress.

You should take time to examine your limiting beliefs. Why do you think success will be hard or unachievable for you? Why do you think you don’t deserve true happiness? Why do you think you should just settle with what you’ve got even though you don’t really like it?

Babe, it’s time to dig deep.

Those little nuggets of self-doubt and negativity seriously limit your potential. Examine them. Only then will you be able to let them go and fully glow and grow.

  1. Victim mentality 🙇🏻

Blaming external factors, such as the economy or circumstances, for personal challenges rather than taking responsibility and seeking solutions means signing a contract with the universe to never reach your highest potential.

Let that sink in.

Lift your chin and promise yourself you will get there. Unfortunately or fortunately, the only person that can truly save you is yourself. And that’s completely doable.

My glowing besties, I could write a whole book about this topic but I hope you got the jeist. Building an abundance mindset is a shift that happens gradually, but it’s a change that happens entirely within you. 💫

It is a prime example of attracting what you give out.

But, take your time and be gentle with yourself. If you persist, the change in your perception of the world will certainly change your whole life. 🌷

Stay glowing and growing,

Your Glowing Bestie ✨💛
